I discovered this song about a month ago. I was hipped to Spotify and so I looked up Patti LaBelle. I let all her songs play till one caught my attention. This was one of them. I like to sing and I love to sing artist songs that challenge my range and this song definitely did that. The amazing breath control and range. These ladies have it. I agree the music today holds no candle to the era of the 50s to the 90s. Patti's voice is Legendary! Even at her age now she maintains her range and power vocally. Not sure why she wasn't deemed any titles to be Queen of something in the music biz. Patti can blow these new age artist out with one note even Mariah can't stand to her in high notes.
