I thought this might have been the song I've been searching a decade for. In the 80s my Nana taught me a song before she died that I desperately want to find. The only bit I remember is:
I was watching a man paint a fence,
He painted it bluuuue,
Just as blue as the sky,
Like the blue in his eye,
And it made me feel bluer than bluuuue.
I don't suppose anybody remembers it anymore? Google does not show a result either.
