Memories, memories sweet Calypso music out of Trinidad. While growing up in Jamaica in the 60s this other Calypso sounds rang out on the air. However, the sounds from Kitchener always stood out as my favourites. This one in particular underlined them.

Kitch was a brilliant calypso maker, He could imply without smut, and it for the listeners to interpret. He was in every way a gentleman. Years ago as A child, he had a thing for my big sister, and he would meet us as she was walking me to school.. He was so nice and was always respectful to her. She was not interest in him like that, and he accepted it and moved on. To t his day I can recall his kindness to her and myself. A great guy. R I P Kitch
