I absolutely loved this song in 1989. It was my first year in high school and I couldn’t for the life of me find out who sang it. I just knew it was Lou someone. Fast forward to 1997 even a google search back then didn’t help! Must have been the early 2000’s that I finally found it and also realised Lou Gramm was the front man of Foreigner. I knew the voice sounded familiar but just couldn’t place it. Fast forward to 2020 and I still love this song like I did 31 years ago!
Saw Lou last night in St. Charles and when he did this I was on top of the world. I was a few feet from lou so it was fun for us to sing right along with him! So much fun. He's still got it.
if there is a better voice,i've never heard it,he can sing better stoned than most straight,he's proved that,he has found his god and now he's healing, millions have been praying for him, millions, his voice is coming back slowly, and surely, god bless louis grammatico, the world needs his talent
Definitely one of the best rock vocalists/songwriters ever. Such a range and a beautiful tone. I had heard that Lou thought that Foreigner was getting too soft (Mick Jones writing and band direction) and that's what led to his departure. Foreigners current singer, Kelly, is good but its just not Foreigner anymore. The songs are nowhere near as good without Lou, so i cant bring myself to pay for tickets to see them live. It would be like watching a tribute band at this point. Oh well, nothing lasts forever.
