I'm assuming that Mickey Most and the Nashville Teens came upon this song via this version, and not the original single by Loudermilk, right? I love how it exaggerates the contrast between the rustic blues feel to the verse and the swing of the bridge. Which is in the original, but not so exaggerated. Great song, great arrangement, great voice.
