When I got married this was my wedding march song. After our vows were exchanged the song was then cued to 3:50 and when we kissed they hit play. It was beautiful.

This song always reminds me of my brief younger days driving through the southern plains and desert southwest towards my  uncertain date with destiny....

Always loved this song.  Makes me think of walking on a beach in the rain with big rolling waves coming in and thunderclaps in the distance.  Just losing yourself in the elements, in the reminder of how small you are.    

Sometimes this song hits me in the right spot, even 31 years later. Tears seem to travel miles when they're finally released...

Same era and same feeling as evoked by New Order's Elegia. Just beautiful and emotional instrumental that touches the soul. Today's music just doesn't penetrate quite as deeply.
