This was one my late father's favourite songs. As soon as I hear the harmonica in the intro I see his smiling face and am filled with the warmth of love he always gave me. I will always miss him and love him and be grateful for beautiful songs like this that remind me of all the wonderful times we spent together just listening to music sharing stories and just having a good laugh.

Fantastic song and group.'Reflections of my life' is one of the best yet most underrated songs of theirs and of the 60's.

I had this tune stuck in my head the other day but could not recall what it was called!  At first I had in mind Graham Nash singing the harmony as it reminded me of "Marrakesh Express". It took me a while but once I realised it was not CSNY nor the Hollies I tracked it down! Marmalade were certainly a versatile band!

She used to perform for the Boys during the interval by dancing to the Greatest hits of Leo Sayer. The Act used to last dor up to 3 minutes. On marriage to musician Keir Allam she retired from the Business and , sadly, renounced the name "McGonagle" ro become Sheila Allam. She now, apparently, lives near Forfar and is 65 years old and about to draw her Government Pension.
