a cast of superstar jazz artists - I bought this back in 1972. John Coltrane's influence was still very strong.

What superb music. A generation of fabulous artists, whose creations have sprung from the depths of their hearts and souls, is leaving us. Who, indeed, will take their places?

Tyner's music on this album is truly spiritual. Alice Coltrane's harp adds an ethereal flavor that is most inspiring.

Music is a language all of its own. We do not need verbs, adjectives, nouns or any other linguistic elements of grammar. We need merely to look, see, hear, listen and smile together. What more is there in this' our temporary exist here as merely spiritual travelers collectively on single cosmic journey ~

McCoy Tyner at the peak of his greatness. What a gift this humble man from Philadelphia has been to our world of Jazz. Also, few soloists in history have demonstrated such mastery, not only in flawless technique but in the way he breathes life into a piano. With both John Coltrane and Wayne shorter (also Joe Henderson) McCoy turns it all into magic. His music vibrates with all of life at its fullest. A devout Muslim, Tyner represents the best of his religion and (his and my) beloved city of Philadelphia with great distinction. Salam.
