what the hell. can't find the lyrics to this song. Found like 10 different sites with the lyrics to this song and it isn't even remotely close. Looks like the lyrics don't even match the song at all.

Heres my attempt at figuring out the lyrics try to outrun the process, try to outrun the gun there's no escaping a new awakening, conflicted in everyone they drip feed us answers, what next will they crave? they're wrecking our future for war(oil?), there's no escape (scream in background i dont understand ??) admit defeat explain yourselves, you're sacrificing life for your own game the prison with no bars, empty vessels and broken hearts no one knew, that we would go this far it makes no sense, to go on I can see no other way out of here we are the lost in a world full of fear blind to injustice extracting life birth and death get twisted born in chains well, they tried to take back my memories, tried to take back my self there's no forgiveness (for mutilation?youthful nation?), they're caging in every one they make all the rules, yeah its all just a game they're wrecking our future for oil, and human waste I can see no other way out of here we are the lost in a world full of fear blind to injustice extracting life birth and death get twisted born in chains

Here's something controversial: I like both albums equally. This song got me into them first and with The Amanuensis I was hooked forever. The two vocalists differ a lot, yes, as all vocalists do. But Chris has a range and diversity that so few vocalists can even dream of and it adds so much more depth to their song writing.

Listen to the gain on that guitar, it's so vicious! It's like it snarling at you, especially that bit round 2:09. Love It!

This song is mostly in Phrygian dominant, which is probably the most common scale in Middle Eastern music.

It's a damn shame...the EP We are the Foundation version is so much better. I'll stick with that.
