Moxy Früvous was a politically satirical folk-pop band from Thornhill, Ontario. The band was founded in 1989, and was active until 2001. Common themes in Früvous songs include Canada and the "human experience". The band formed in 1989 when Jian Ghomeshi (then going by Jean Ghomeshi, Murray Foster and Mike Ford, former classmates at the local Thornlea Secondary School and playing in a pub band called The Chia Pets at the time, joined with David Matheson to busk in Toronto. They drew crowds, and, eventually, the attention of Toronto-based CBC Radio, which commissioned songs about political and local issues for the radio show Later the Same Day.
these suspiciously similar "LOL THIS SUCKS" comments from similar looking accounts concern me
thank you grumpy old people for being old and grumpy but I think I'll keep listening to this song
when you played hippy fest with ani we were standing together see you earlier bare not so Maclean & Maclean played sign hurt lions got dismissed cart in tent shorten bread turn in core praised Allaah you.
Moxy Fruvous should make a new version of this song for Harry and Meghan..."Once I was The Duke of Sussex, now I eat humble pie. Oh my unspeakable wife Duchess Meghan! Now I eat humble pie......Hey Trump, Hey Putin got problems? You text me....Once I was the Duke of Sussex, now I eat humble pie and now I deliver for Skip the dishes..."
"And now I vacuum the turf at Skydome."--Line from the song. Jian Ghomeshi will be damn lucky if he can get even that job in the country of his citizenship. Maybe he'll get that job at what is now called the Rogers Centre...after the Blue Jays win their third World Series title.
