As a Korean-Canadian visiting South Korea this past summer, I was really happy to hear this song being played at a Korean restaurant.

People have said and I agree that it might be a song about someone dealing with depression maybe self harm. This is one of my favorite songs though. Canada has produced a lot of amazing bands.

They’re like Smashing Pumpkins without Billy Corgan’s ego.

The 90's were truly magical. I'm blessed to have lived my teens and 20's in the last great decade.

God damn, I miss this decade and most of all, that year. 1998, what a great era for music, the economy, peacetime, the environment, and being young.

I remember when a friend was like, you ever heard the band Our Lady Peace? And my first thought was ummm... Yeah sorry man, you're not about to put on some evangelist gospel band. But then he smiled and put on this song and i was blown away and utterly confused at the same time when i heard those lyrics in the chorus. Been a fan ever since. Now that friend has passed away and i think of him everytime i hear an OLP song. I'll be a fan for life thanks to him. RIP, Randy, still listening down here.

Just took in a disabled, obese, father in law.  Took him into our house for his last months.  Seeing how sad he is needing this help is a heart breaker.  He isn't asking for a damn thing in my eyes.  This guy paid for his daughter's and my wedding knowing he wasn't going to be there.  He keeps telling me to stop apologizing while I'm him in his needs and I keep messing things up and not having the experience to really do it totally feeling "CLUMSY" as hell trying to figure out how to change a 300+lbs mans undergarment and not have him feel ashamed.  I tell him it is part of being a family when I see shame in his eyes... I have known this man since I was 12 years old.  I have never been more jealous then of my wife and the relationship she has with the great man that is her dad.  He is still cracking jokes and busting me up and really there could not be a better blessing then stepping up when you know number has been called.  My wife takes care of me with my epilepsy on a regular basis and I know what its like to feel like a pussy when needing help even if you don't want to ask for it.  Now I get to help him and when he doesn't want to ask for help, I make sure he doesn't have to.

I simply adore this song, it really resonates with me. I come from a history of physical abuse from both family and strangers. Being bipolar as well, the weight of my illness had brought me close to suicide on several occasions. This song truly helped me through some rough patches. So much so that I got the lyric "level off" tattooed on my left arm. These guys had a hand in saving my life and I am forever grateful.

And to think bands with talent like this were played on the radio at one time.

Cheers to the 90's, the time before all the social media shit, just remember we all knew learned back then how to talk girls/boys in person not just txt. if you wanted to see someone that caught you eye you would have to go find them, not just look them up. defeats the whole purpose of adventure.
