This is the last time I get to call you mine
We never liked it anyway
Two birds returning to the sky
So sweet yet so bitter
So sweet yet so bitter
You wrote such a good letter
I have it by my bed
To read it makes me sad and glad
We both know it’s better
So sweet yet so bitter
So sweet yet so bitter
I don’t see why not
The pain will be forgot
And all that will reside are the markings in the sky
So tonight I don’t see why not
So sweet yet so bitter
So sweet yet so bitter
3:19 .... what a beautiful smile... how lucky someone must to be to have one of those once in a while... I just listen her talk about Jen's song and realized that "I think I knows what you is / You're the closest I will get to an angel" certainly works in both ways. Rachel is not from this world.
I saw her in Bath this week, she is quite simply amazing. A voice like an organ crossed with a flute crossed with an angel. Just amazing. And excellent material. Like The Pierces and Regina Spektor all squeezed into one person. She will be a giant star if there's any justice. Of course, there isn't any justice. So there you go.
