I saw them a few years ago in Gruene Hall, Gruene, Texas and loved thier music. I bought their Bring It On Down CD and still listen to it alot. When I get a chance I will pick up Made in the Shade. Thanks for sharing. If anyone has Rattle My Cage done live I would greatly appreciate it.
Translated words by Eric Frey on the bass who wrote the haunting song.
You're not in my arms, but in the arms of another,
so I'm leaving here for to kill, or to die.
To kill or to die, it doesn't matter which,
because either way, I'm leaving smiling.
Now I'm standing in front of your house
and my hands are filled with blood and your eyes are filled with tears
Still the same, I'm smiling because I know that the the birds
Are going to sing around my grave forever."
The lyrics are all in their liner notes ln the cd. Made in the Shade cd is one the best
CD's ever BUY IT YOU WILL LOVE IT. Dont just down single tracks buy the whole Cd You will be a fan forever!
Love me some Cajun french. When I was in high school, our french teacher was sick for two weeks, and this nice cajun lady from Big Thicket came to teach us Les Français. When our regular teacher cam back, he was appalled, but we loved it. I don't think he ever got us back to proper pah-ree french. Might have quit soon after.
