To those hating the vocals, you have to look at it from a purely artistic point of view. With Rosetta it isn't what is being said, but the conviction it is being said with.

The screams add power and emotion to the song. It is already moving alone without the vocals, but when they are added it gives the song much more emphasis to the pain that the character is going through.

I love that unique sound that Rosetta haves. The screams give them something special. So desperate, you can take the music to your convenience. Just beautiful.

The vocals add a sense of desperation to the song and if you don't think that they fit the music, go listen to Pelican or some other watered down instru-metal band and pretend that it's good.
