My Grandma was my favorite person in the world. When I was a little girl, she would play this song on her clunky out-of-tune piano and it was oh, so beautiful to my ears. Brings a nostalgic tear to my eye.

Roy had one of the best, if not THE best, voices I've ever heard! And yet he made it look so effortless. His mouth would move like he was just murmering but the voice that came out was so powerful, so emotional and so beautiful to listen to.
I saw him in the late 70s or early 80s in Sydney, Australia when his career was at a low ebb, why it was is just astounding to me. I was so happy for him, and myself too, when he made it back to the big time with The Traveling Wilburies. Black and White Night, the video of his live performance at the Coconut Grove with so many musical greats was a highlight of his career and he recorded the " Mystery Girl" album. Just when it looked like he had it made again he died tragically from a massive heart attack.
He and all of us were robbed of the incredible music he would have continued to make.
What a terrible loss!
