How great. I had the good pleasure of playing with him back in the '70s. A delightful human being, and sorely missed.

Man I am glad I found you again Norton .I left my harps in Bagdad, Iraq So I could change the culture only to come back home and found out I changed and was so depressed coming home I wish I would have stayed for a while loner . So now hearing you again Ill teach my Grand kids to play if they'll sit still long enough to have a happier purpose filled life

Great song from a great album !! The name of the song is actually "Down in Mississippi" from the their album "Travelin' Tracks". We will always miss you Norton !

Thank you God for giving us Norton Buffalo. We are going to miss him so very much. There's a lot more harpin' goin on in heaven now !

Never go to see Norton, but I was  Down in Mississippi  in the cotton fields in Freedom Village at the festival the songs about.  Sam Chatman died soon after.

Norton and Roy, up in a bar,of upper Puget Sound, one night...I was heading back South, from a "uh, you failed" relationship...stopped to get plowed...that damned 2 man band...gave me my "humanity" back...heehee....their old cd's...are still my best friends...what? 20 years later now?...wow...

The world needs to know how amazing Norton was. Check out his riffs at 2:20 and his rhythm backing up Roy at 3:00. He did things that no harmonica player could do. He was the Jimi Hendrix of harmonica. Plus he was he kindest nicest dude. RIP brother
