Taken way to early from us but his music will live forever. If you can read this Dane somehow... Your Music had a big impact in my life and my journey as a young musician. I was so hooked on this album in the late 80's ........ one of the guys I was in the navy got me into santurary, death angel and king diamond. I haven't been able to find that dude. he got stationed in Hawaii and I, long beach CA. his last name was Crum or crumb and he hailed from san fran area......

Dave Mustaine, who produced the album, found together with Sanctuary's guitarist a magical guitar sound. A mix between Bay Area Thrash and the guitar sound Judas Priest used at the time. This guitar sound got very popular amongst european power metal bands (and Judas Priest themselves utilised it heavily during the album Painkiller), and it's easy to understand why. The guitar sound is warm and colourful yet hard and aggressive. I love it, and it works great together with the drum sound! This type of sound landscape is something I miss in today's metal.
