This is beautiful. It would be therapy for the victims of the Sikh genocide we worked for the last ten years. They suffer trauma and need healing centred help. I hope Snatam Kaur, and anyone inspired, will come and help us in the Punjab.
Waheguru is the primary Mantra. Vaahe is an ecstatic expression of awe & wonder. Guru derives from two words. Gu - darkness, & Ru- light. Therefore Guru means that power, being, and presence, which dispels darkness and brings light, in other words Enlightener. Cumulatively, the name implies wonder at the Divine Light eliminating spiritual darkness; also -Hail the Lord whose Name eliminates spiritual darkness. Vaheguru implies the state of wondrous ecstasy and offering homage to Divine Creator.
Translated in English
I am in ecstasy, O my mother, for I have found my True Guru.
I have found the True Guru, with intuitive ease, and my mind vibrates with the music of bliss.
The jewelled melodies and their related celestial harmonies have come to sing the Word of the Shabad.
The Lord dwells within the minds of those who sing the Shabad.
Says Nanak, I am in ecstasy, for I have found my True Guru. 1

She does have an angelic voice. I know close to nothing about the lyric translation but have seen her twice in concert and her voice nearly brought me to tears - so clear and ringing. A very good band with her also - especially the guitar player.
