My favorite thing about this gonzo classic is that John is voiced by Spike Jones, Mary by his real-life wife, Helen Grayco. "I must go away somewhere and figure this thing out." Priceless.

What's the song in the middle?

I always liked the overblown tuba at about 1:56.  You know how hard it is to overblow a tuba?

I lost track of who had which wife and child after the first 30 seconds. Doesn't matter, though. Spike Jones and his musical madmen were true geniuses, and anything they did was a blast.
