When I got home that night early one morning
Seeing the note written in ink pinned to the door
Taking a drink cool from the fridge from the table
I drank a toast you were the most the night before
Roll over lay down and let me in Roll over it’s a long way where I’ve been
Roll over lay down and let me in Roll over lay down
When I get home tomorrow night after this morning
Show me the care you showed in the note the night before
Maybe I won’t take a drink from the table
Reckon I’ll lay me straight down the floor
Roll over lay down and let me in Roll over it’s a long way where I’ve been
Roll over lay down and let me in Roll over lay down
When I get home tomorrow night after this morning
Show me the care you showed in the note the night before
Maybe I won’t take a drink from the table
Reckon I’ll lay me straight down the floor
Roll over lay down and let me in Roll over it’s a long way where I’ve been
Roll over lay down and let me in Roll over lay down
Of course everybody speaks about how good Rick was ,Francis was , Alan was , and rightly so , but John Coghlan barely gets a mention , I can't see why , because if you put the 4 of them together , they was fantastic , when John left , to me , they went down a notch or 2
They sold their selves short when they said all this game and awards from three chords it was so much more their musicianship was par to none they truly underestimated theirselves and their Abilities
John Coghlan, one of the greatest rock drummers ever, sounds simple, you try playing it, Ringo Star, Phil Rudd, Brian Downey, Simon Kirk all drummers who could not be replicated playing their bands songs.
