This song of Steve E's appeals to every one of my musical appreciation senses. It's not the only one of his I love, but it's the first one I ever think about should his name crop up, and I play the album in my car at least once a week, years after I bought the CD. .... Way to Go Steve !

I was curious so I just did the math and 100 pounds of yeast is enough to make 6500 gallons of Mash. Went to Town twice a year so 13,000. After Distilling the mash, that's about 4,000 gallons of alcohol. Moonshine season Runs about 26 weeks. That'd be running about 153 gallons a week. 3 to keep, 150 to bootleg. Sounds like He knew his stuff when he wrote this.
