Steven Wilson - Abandoner download song

This song is my favorite on Insurgentes, definitely.

This track is quite dark and threatening .... much of Insurgentes is like this. I think the 'noise' experimentation on the album gives it quite a special atmosphere.

I love all of Stevens work but I have to say, Insurgentes is still my favorite of his solo work. I absolutely love the dark atmosphere, its all him on this album in pure gritty fashion. This is when I really fell in love with his sound, that droning piano run through effects is by far one of the most strikingly distinct sounds I've heard in any prog

Wilson should compose music for horror movies. His stuff just keeps getting darker & more morose sounding as time moves on. I mean, I've always been a fan, but more so of his work with PT as opposed to his solo music, which is just too creepy for me. jmho....

yes, they all grow on you. I do not know of any other artist like Steven. I am thankful He is!!!

When that acoustic guitar comes in around 1:02, it  always reminds me of Spyro, I know that sounds odd. One of my favourite songs ever.

One thing I love about SW is his ear for sound designing.

This is probably the best song on the album... as if the rest of the album wasn't worth purchasing already (it is), this alone would justify buying a physical copy. Agonizingly powerful.

I wish the entire album was this dark. The problem with progressive rock like this is; it's so unique that I can't find more of what I really want to hear!! Storm Corrosion is my favorite, but there's not much like it.
