"When you're down with Sublime you get funky fresh lyrics!" "We got cricket with the quickness and the bass line!" "Rougher the rhythm man, it must be Sublime!" "If I had a shotgun, you know what I'd do? I'd point that shit straight at the sky and shoot heaven on down for you!" SICK ASS LINES, man actually, pretty sick song actually, hella cool BAND. RIP Brad

My favorite Sublime album & my second favorite Sublime song after “Let’s Go Get Stoned”. I’m so glad my friend told me to get this cd when I was 13, it opened me up to a world of music I didn’t know existed. Thanks, Sublime, from the bottom of my heart

How many amazing talents do we have to lose in this country before drug laws are made with common sense instead of loyalty to the pharmaceutical overlord?  They would obviously have preferred that he abused Oxycodone, Oxymorphone, Morphine, or one of the other substances which are almost chemically identical to heroin- except the government and pharm industry can make money off of them with the current drug laws...  The reason Bradley died is because he got a batch of heroin much stronger than his usual dose, and so when he went to take what he thought was just going to be a regular sustaining dose, BOOM and he's dead. (and for those of you who have never struggled with addiction, a "sustaining" dose is much different from getting "high" which is a common misconception in society regarding addicts; once you're physically addicted you do enough to get by without physical withdrawals and have some left to get by tomorrow instead of blowing it all at once to get high for 20 minutes and then have 30 hours of misery until your next source of income- keep in mind Bradley died before Sublime became anywhere near 'famous' so finances were tough for him his entire life).  RIP bradley nowell, I hope you're in a much better place than this shitty world we're all living in now.

"you see, I think drugs have done some good things for us. I really do. and if you don't believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a favor. go home tonight. take all your albums, all your tapes and all your CDs and burn them. 'cause you know what, the musicans that made all that great music that enhanced your lives throughout the years wear rreal fucking high on drugs." quote by Bill hicks.
