"Hot Water" was left off the CD reissue of the first two Sugarloaf albums for space reasons. You need the original vinyl version of the SPACESHIP EARTH album for that track.

Thanks for the kind words on Tongue in Cheek. I wrote the song but there were 5 of us making it happen in the studio: Jerry Corbetta on B3 organ, Bob Webber on the other lead guitar, Bob MacVittie on drums, and Bob Raymond on bass.

My name is randy robinson Mr Yeazel,Ive been a musician as long as you have and never thought I would get a chance to talk to you. This is my most favorite song from that album, which I completely wore out. Thank you so much for writing this song, you have no Idea how much you helped my songwriting skills.

I know there's a lot of old hippies on this blog, but I'm an old Army soldier. We too enjoyed the music greatly. In fact, we used this song to pump us up on Huey gun ships. Imagine blasting through the air with your M-60's blazing to this tune in the background. Better than your LSD I think...

Thanks for writing it. I remember hearing this song ... on the radio! Yes, one of those lesser known songs from a band, but I remember liking it even more than the megahit -- and would wait patiently each day to hear it on the radio. I remember Spaceship Earth (which I just had to go out and buy) with even more fondness than the first album. "Mother Nature's Wine" ... "Rollin' Hills" ... Made me want to go hang out with you guys, right on that front porch on the album cover!

One of my favs  of from this Sugarloaf.  I saw them when they were called chocolate Hair.   Played at my school ... Prom or something..  Ha..  Jerry Corbetta is a great organ player.  A master.    Music today is no where close to what is out there today..  Thank god it is on the internet.  So youth can see musicians with their craft.. What can really be done with some talent.

I have to agree with everyone here! I have loved this band since the early 70s - when my best mate, Paul, and I were in late high school here in Australia! Love this track, and Green Eyed Lady. Still have GEL as a single!

hkrat 1 year ago 18 Bob - this was one of my favorite songs as a young teen...the guitar solos started me on the road to become a load guitarist. Excellent song. I never over dubbed one solo when recording in the early 80's. I think that's cheating! if you f*ck up, let stay!

I purchased the "Spaceship Earth" Album in 1970 and this has been one of my all-time favorite songs. Can't get anyone to play it on the radio. They toured with ZZ Top in 1973 when I saw them in Amarillo, TX. I couldn't believe it at the time that ZZ could out perform them when they finished. ZZ was great, but I have to admit that Sugarloaf overall was just as good! Thanks!

Gotta say, XM Deep Tracks is the best. I would have never heard this song otherwise. What a great song!
