One of the great things of a band like The Cure, is diversity. They can make a 1000 songs that all sound very differently, and yet still you know when it's a Cure song. This song to me is just sheer nostalgia. Best days of my life were in the Eighties. :)

my dad and i used to dance to this song in our kitchen shortly after him and my mum broke up, i may have not have noticed it then but now i look back at those memories of him and i and begin to realise that he was a sad man, but somehow whenever we seemed to be dancing together everything was better
