This reminds me of our family reunions. With the grills smoking and the card tables are full of family talking smack (with love). Kids running around playing and all the aunties and uncles that partied back in their day on the dance floor. Man I miss those days.
For my eleventh birthday, my father gave me one of the first boomboxes. It had a cassette player with AM/FM stereo sound. I loved it. My mom took me to the record store to buy some tapes and what do I choose, The Isley Brothers and Stevie Wonder, I was a white girl who loved Soul and Funk music. I loved the way the music made me feel when I listened to it.
Timeless,u won't hear to many songs like this today. Meaningful, romantic, and sexy. Miss those type of songs-added morals and values to relationships back in a day. Keep the faith.
