Saw them live in early sixties in Adelaide Australia when they toured with Del Shannon,they had the original lineup and even in those days of very poor sound systems they were great,a shame the original members did not stay together. Have all their original vinyl albums,a much underrated band. Cannot watch the present supposed searchers as they are not anything like the group of the sixties.this song was always my favourite from their first LP.
When t start singing song's of other people it makes me shever and the searchers were blessed and with Chris Curtis they were one of the best bit dave clark five was better but the searchers came close
Big fan of Searchers and Everlies without knowing this song. Searchers are one of the most unappreciated Brit Invasion bands - must listen to WHEN YOU WALK INTO THE ROOM!! Phil and Don get all the credit they deserve.
