If you were in England back in the day you remember when it first was released. The Stone Roses may have been on the way down but its still incredible. Virtually every thing they did sounded at least really good although they had some bad gigs. This is one of the tunes I really liked off of the second album. It still sounds really really good. Fucking incredible.
If The Stone Roses had half the savvy of Oasis when it came to self promotion they would have been TRULY MASSIVE. They flew in the face of common sense when it came to public relations and for the most part the fans loved them for it. In a business based on kissing ass, The Roses did the opposite and it cost them. They were still brilliant though and released some of the best music to come out of the 80s/90s.
SECOND COMING IS THE ALBUM "BE HERE NOW" TRIED TO BE AND FAILED. AWESOME!
"The Stone Roses" is the best debut album of all time so of course this album had a hard time impressing but its still one of the finest out there, for me still the best band of all time and i've got a hard on waiting for the 29th of June!!! See all you roses lovers down there anyone that shouts hugevagine gets a free joint and a beer!
I'm not following any herd of sheep, Second Coming is a bloody brilliant album, but The Stone Roses is the best album ever, and that's genuinely my opinion. Second Coming is probably more cleverly done than the first album, but the first album beats Second Coming for sheer brilliance
