The Three Degrees - Tsop (The Sound of Philadelphia) download song

the music, sounds like funk/soul/motown.

I remember when I was little in the early 70s and the hairdresser putting big rollers in my mom's hair while this song was playing on the radio. Those were the good ol' days of vinyl records and the good music on the radio.

What a piece of classic disco music that melted the charts in the early 70's. The addition of the Three Degrees gives the song an added appeal. I remember when this song came out, and it was all I could do from keep on humming the tune. Even after 40 years or more I still love this song. It does not come better than this.

I'd never heard this version of TSOP. I assumed it was the same as the track from the MFSB album. Little did I know it contained way more lyrics! Terrific!
