The Ventures - Perfidia download song

One of my all time favorites!

My favorite song by this band. It made a twelve year old kid feel twenty-one. Must have been the non-bubble gum chord changes and lead guitar. Victor H. the Vet

This is a real old standard from the 30s and 40s. The Ventures gave it that "surf's up" sound!

This signature riff was buzzing around in my head for ages and I never knew the name of the song !

Picture if you will... It's 30 Degrees, Vespa scooter (white). No helmet, Mediterranean coast road, this is the tune that's going on in my head. Dunno why.

U gotta hand it to them. Picking two Big band tunes and adapting them to the twangy twin guitar style. Loved it then, love it now.

I was 15 when this record was released and loved it ...Just heard it on sound of the sixties this morning and still love it after all these years...wonderful stuff !

There is a perfection in their music that moves my soul. this is just wonderful music.

My band in the early 1960's covered all the Ventures and Ramrod songs~!! Sleepwalk was usually the last song of the night to end the gig. Great times back then, sure miss em~!

When I heard the Ventures back in Brazil in1960 it blew my mind. The unique sound of Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster by the Ventures immediately fascinated me. The clean sound and the distortion sound is also exciting. These guys have shown to the world how to play rock 'n roll guitar. They have shown to mankind a sound that is very american!
