The brilliance Zedd put into the song is memorable. He has a talent for throwing his emotion into each of his songs, which is quite formidable when composing house. Follow You Down gives a feeling of bliss while giving a feeling of longing simultaneously.
I haven't heard this song in over a year and it just popped in my head a minute ago. I love it when that happens! It's like my brain says "I don't want you to ever forget this song, so I'll pop it in your head long enough for you to search it up."
I can't ever stop listening to this song. Zedd is THE BEST. All of his songs put me in a good mood. I just feel so happy when I listen to this song. XD
It was a very cold and cloudy afternoon in late 2013, my girl and I had a fight, she left, she left me alone. I was feeling horrible, I thought she'll never be back, so I decided to have a beer. Had another beer, and another, and another, and another, and another, before I could notice, I was really drunk. Alcohol starts kicking in, I wanna listen to music, something that doesn't make me get in my feelings so I don't miss her. I start browsing my iTunes Library, I found this song that I never played after downloading the entire Zedd's album, Clarity. Play it. I collapsed. Started crying my soul out through my eyes, so I called her and told her how much my life sucks without her. She comes back, we cuddle, and just hearing her saying my name, killed all the demons that were making me feel like a worthless man. She cuddled away my loneness and sadness. I find myself like the happiest man in the world.
3 years later, she's not with me anymore, I moved on, but I miss the memories we had together when listening to this song. Great song, I love it! It's a wonderful song full of feelings and sentiments. Zedd need to make more music like this.
No happy ending in my story but this song connects to me on so many levels emotionally. I lost my ex to depression over an inoperable condition I did all I could and stand by her. Love each other always love everyone we are all in need of love life’s too short for anything else
