they even re-created the synth effect from the original roy ayers track. priceless. love to see jazz artists treating roy as canon, as i understand in the 70s, jazz funk artists struggled to be taken seriously by the jazz community. black musicians will always define the boundaries of jazz music, regardless of what the white jazz establishment thinks it is
