Chopin would be proud... I don't know why we got get music like this anymore. Maybe we don't deserve it.

If it is indeed his favorite piece then you can tell how deep he gets into the music and how he flows with and whithin it. Chopin would be proud!

I owned this album way back then. It made a huge impression on me. So many bittersweet memories.

Jesus, why bother posting this if you can't fit the whole piece in? I don't get it.

+LazlosPlane: You don't need to use the deity as an expletive. And to the guy who says that isn't used as an expletive YOU ARE WRONG. Ask any language teacher or professor!

At first, I didn't like this piece. But the more I've listened to it, the more I realize just how amazing it is and that it even rivals the fourth Ballade as Chopin's magnum opus.

(1) following the title means there is a (2), which there is of the final 3 minutes. Many pieces are cut like that due to a limit of 10 minutes. Enjoy the climax.

Feels like painful romance. To me it related to a lover I just had to leave, but your heart still aches. As I type this the last note leaves me hung up, wanting more. Of her, and the music we made.

Otherworldly beautiful, Rubinstein brings out the noble character of this masterpiece. Where other great pianists go astray and play too fast or incoherently, Rubinstein sculptures the music in a monolithic way. A truly great performance.
