This is harmonically and melodically great to listen and the marching swing is a grerat combination .Bravo!!!! waaaaaay after the fact .A great composition/arrangement and I absolutely loved hearing it.

This sounds like the Columbia version! I have the Brunswick version and a Japineese Columbia version of this song! I LOVE BOTH!!!

what's that in her hair?  great pic, though, and isn't that a man's hand next to her own?  her hand looks masculine too, beside his own. i don't like this one as much as some of his other work; including my absolute favorites, "reefer man and doin' what i please", which i just heard for the umpteenth time and never tire of it. thanks, for posting an american genius who was well-ahead of his time in attempting to establish creative control ala P Diddy and others who would be modern day don redmans.

This is actually the Columbia version from 1932, issued under Harlan Lattimore's name.

Fantastic Fletcher Henderson arrangement played by an equally wonderful Don Redman orchestra. The sax player is truly a master of his instrument.
