As soon as I saw this, I thought ooh look its Paramore Haley Willams-oooh no its not its Emma blackery who rocks the same hairstyle and rock attitude of awesome ness lol
I love you Emma. I suffer from depression and anxiety. I have dyslexia and have been treated like I'm 5 for most of my life. This song is brillaint because it shows that everyone is perfect in their own way, no matter what weight, colour, sexuality, age or individuality. Your voice is amazing.
I hate how both the people in the video and a lot of others in the world think they're not perfect. This song is one of the reasons Emma Blackery is my hero.
I decided after I watched this to do this:
puts on perfect in background
starts recording
pulls out paper saying: I wish
pulls out a second saying: I was cooler, braver and more assertive
turns first paper around and it says on the back: But it's ok,
turns second paper around and it says on the back: I'm perfect as I am!
puts paper down and shows arm with the words: And so are you! on it
ends video
puts on instagram and tells everyone to make a video like it
Here's YOUR challange:
Make a video saying:
I wish I was (example of whatever you want to be eg. Sportier)
But it's OK, I'm perfect as I am.
And so are you!
I get bullied at school by a girl and I'm in p7 and everything she said I believe but after hearing this song I stood up to her and now she has stopped bullying me thank you Emma
I'm really happy i didn't find Emma's channel later because i finally found a kind of like "group" with the same music taste and the same dorky harry potter love and stuff (for me that's amazing) i'm definitly going to buy this album and idk why i didn't notice Emma until today but i'm happy i did
Usually, when I watch your videos, I forget that you make music, it's just not relevant and then, sometimes, you release music and I realize that you're so fucking talented and good!
It's really good. I love it.
Emma, this was probably the most meaningful music video ever. Mostly because it's almost all people who aren't famous, just regular average people. You barely show yourself at all, which to me means you didn't want people to even think of you during it, only the people and the lyrics. Best music video ever, other than A Song About a Girl because that was hilarious.
