Your mileage may differ. I'm a bit older than you and I know kids who dig this song. I even know kids who play songs from that era it rather well ;) I think there's a lot of difference *within* generations, not just between them. =a=

Early this Sunday morning, listen to this for the sixth time, this ecstasy in the twilight shafts in soft surprise, reminds me once again that the Universe love me and you, too.

Saw them at The Roundhouse in London, summer 1976 with their fully electric bag. Great concert though: i fondly remember it

I think I hear 3 guitars, a rhythem, another picking and the lead. Jorma is credited with playing all 3. Great arranging of the guitar tracks, playing and melody. Jorma/ Hot Tuna is one of the most underrated rock bands in history. It's not rock, folk or R&B, but all in one beautifully blended. To answer your question below, kids today don't appreciate talent. They are too young. If my dad had played me Dean Martin when I was 16, I would have laughed. Today I see the talent.

Big album in late '72. Everybody loved Keep On Truckin'. Good timey. Everybody dug Water Song. How could you not with Jack just slobberin' away? But it was Sea Child that sorta crept out of the woodwork to wonk you over the head. Jorma's lead breaks are smokin' hot and they worked really hard (probably Jorma and the engineers) at Heider's to get those guitars layered so nicely. Great composition. Great recording. Great performance. Great, great song

Saw Jorma tonight in Dallas.  At 74 he is still one of the best guitar slingers ever.

My favorite song when I was ‘lost child’ back in the day and still sounds wonderful now that I’m a ‘lost old man’. Thanks for the inspirational music, it has been huge.
