These old songs remind me of my youth. And as life is so hard and a bit frightening today, I tend to anchor my thoughts in my youth, as a type of stress/fear release mechanism. My escape age is about 17, when I was so excited about life and everything was new; the scent of a woman and being old enough to drive my own car.

The whole song is great and the vocals are beautiful. But as a guitarist, it's Craig Chaquico's guitar work that blows me away. His solo is so sweet and all the fills are just perfect. And of course I could look at Aishwarya Rai all day long.

Love this little jewel by Jefferson Starship. One of the few bands who changed and evolved into different incarnations for several different generation of listeners. Marty Balin what a songwriter. Love the guitar work of Chad Chaquico. It always sends me into another place or planet. Being a guitarist myself for all these years I think I can appreciate his fingerwork. I will never be as talented as him but I can still appreciate his work. Jefferson Airplane-Jefferson Starship-Starship a band for all ages.

this reminds me of my girlfriend. it was the summer of 78 working on a tug boat on the Mississippi river. we could use the phone once a week. the only time i could talk to her. god i missed her. everytime i hear this song, it reminds me of that time in my life. she and i have been married now for 31 years.
