I just sent this on to a young girl who has all the notes down on the piano, and has her view of how it should be played. This is to give her another take on how it can be played.

the man was a phenomenal performer.  he earned that nickname Mr. Showman.  even his solo performances like this one are brilliantly done by this national treasure.  he was taken too soon

can't ask a guy like Lee to "REST IN PEACE".....he will be smiling, playing & cracking wise where ever he is.....

If it weren't for Liberace we wouldn't have the music of: Sir Elton John, Barry Manilow, Bette Midler and so many other artists that he inspired. I couldn't care less about what went on in the privacy of his bedroom. That wasn't anyone's business but his.

yeah say what you want about the man.  More talent in his little fingernail than most of us have all over.

ah man! the media brass forced him to cut out the second half of Beethoven's greatest piano masterpiece of all time?!? how dare they do that! the audacity! but it was still beautiful. come hear me play it sometime ;)

Glitz and glamour were his callsigns, lavish outfits and brightly bejeweled pianos and elaborate candelabras...Liberace was a showman with no equal.  His passion for his music and love for entertaining his fans combined with his warmth and charm to give us one of the best ever.  Enjoy the Master's music, for none will ever come along that will compare.  RIP Liberace.

Liberace will never be matched because the classical pianists ONLY play classical music, but Liberace played all music and Brilliantly! Very Talanted Man, He had a special gift which can't be taught or learnt by anyone, he Loved the piano and that only comes from within! R.I.P. Sir.

everytime i hear this music i think of the scene in Misery when Kathy Bates takes the sledgehammer to James Cann's ankles. funny thing is, it was because of that movie i became a fan of Liberace.

One of the greatest pianists of all time. I wish I would have seen him perform when I use to travel to Las Vegas as a child. RIP Liberace!
