We re forgetting things that we used to master, i m driving past the gruesome scene
my bloody knuckles mark the stains
it s not a diamond
Could take the pain away, my bloody knuckles mark the stains, a ring in a box but not from me
I m driving past the gruesome scene, return the piece of my heart you borrowed
You re 2000 miles away, you packed your shit and went ahead, the same car same songs same motions
Fall on your knees and remove the sorrow, but now you re gone and we re falling faster
Regrets and revenge, a ring in a box but not from me Aquamarine, you re 2000 miles away
these images won t stop provoking
Did you think next april, but now you re gone and we re falling faster, could take the pain away
These images won t stop provoking, the dialogue Silverstein, the same car same songs same motions
So desperate, you d be even further away Silverstein, it makes sense from where we ve been
Fall on your knees and remove the sorrow, could take the pain away, the dialogue
We re forgetting things that we used to master, no reconciliation Aquamarine, you ll always regret this
we re forgetting things that we used to master
Regrets and revenge, return the piece of my heart you borrowed
Did you keep him faithful, we hold hands
Salt and lime i taste, we re forgetting things that we used to master
it stays the same
you know you could
And even six years later, i think of the place where you fooled me
How many nights did you lay awake, did you keep him faithful
Definitely my favorite one. Makes me think Shane followed me around the past two years and actually wrote this about me. I've heard relatable Silverstein songs before but this... this hits me somewhere deep inside
i am completely in LOVE with silverstein. i found them when i was in a very low point in my life and about the time when discovering the waterfront. ive been in love since. they will foralways be my fave band. please dont change silverstein!
So glad they didn't forget where they came from, this sounds a lot like Discovering the Waterfront (which is my favorite album by them), brings so much memories. Lots of bands gone pop now so they can sell more records which sucks, gotta appreciate Silverstein though.
I have a lot of awesome memories for songs like the artist, a great fire, vices, the ides of march, when broken is easily fixed, live to kill, toronto, stand amid the roar, massachusetts or my heroine just to name a few. I listened to this song just once while reading the lyrics and I already knew that this will still be one of my fav songs a few years from now ...
