Al Green - Feels Like Summer download song

Feels Like Summer is one track I had missed but thanks to Sainsburys advert for reviving this memory.

Al Green's voice and lyrics are like medicine for my soul. Thank God for a blessing us with his beautiful artistry.

0:21 - that bass line makes me think of Sly and the Family Stones, "YOU GOT ME SMILIN'"

Great song, but instrumentation goes wrong after 60 seconds, when an awful synthesizer kicks in, probably to try to sound like violin.

I must say, after hearing more songs from the Belle album, I am convinced it is Al Green's best. Every track is exceptional (even for Al Green's already exceptional artistry).

i don't find that so off-putting...listening to plenty of late 70s-early 80s reggae i guess conditioned me to plinky cheese like that synth haha

The chord progression reminds me of Dylan's "If not for you"

millsborthers - very funny - not many around will get that reference, where did you find No No?? I've never heard of this track, quick scan on several sites doesn't suggest anything about this "extra track" I hear a keyboard that sounds maybe maybe not of the '76/'77 era.
