The album version of this song is amazing. The version in this video... not so much. Seriously, if you don't like this rendition, try the one on their first album. It's better in every single way and they really should have just used it for the video as well.

I Love this Smiths song, and I'm not insulted when someone recreates it, especially when it's like this, nicely done, indeed.

Same with The Cure covers. Both bands worked out their arrangements so well that most attempts at covers end up going horribly wrong.
This, though, is not a bad cover. They stripped it down enough to make it work. Of course, to make it good enough (read, "perfect") would take a lot more.
