My brother and I were driving back to the L.A. area from Tucson after we had visited with relatives. I had the ipod on shuffle and this song came on... Neither of us could stop crying.
I thank God for this song and Andrae's collection of tunes I grew up listening to when went through elementary school.. Especially when I attended NORTHWEST CHRISTIAN SCHOOL in Philly!
I remember in 1976 I lived in Los Angeles and as a young teenager my Dad took me and my brothers to see Andrea Crouch, how Blessed was I to have such an experience, it was a true Blessing and one great memory....
yes he came to my life when im about to blown out and nowhere to go i hear him saying come to me.. i will completely change you and i wept bitterly knowing that even that i am a sinner he will never be ashamed to own me thank you Lord for saving me and healed me!! thank you!
We can never be the same, having truly encountered the Living Christ! Something in us shifts eternally, no matter how far we try to run afterwards, He will never give up on us, but seeks us out, finds us, takes us on His strong shoulders and heads back home. We love JESUSSS!!
I'm an atheist, but this is just a well crafted, very funky jam. I love this song. Andrae was so talented! I listen to this song over and over again like a mental patient. It is so perfect.
Christ loved me even though I was engulfed in sin. He saved me from the snares of death and Hell. I deserved all the bad in the world but love saved my life. I am truly grateful
* Thank you for sharing this lovely song!! Just added to my playlist "Retro Christian Music" :) I just saw a cool old episode of THE JEFFERSON'S a few days ago where Andrae Crouch appeared as a preacher to do the baptism for George's granddaughter :) Very cool!! God bless you, Rachel in Nashville :)
