Here comes the jesters, one, two three
It's all part of my fantasy
I love the music and I love to see the crowd
Dancin' In the aisles and singin' out loud
Here comes the dancers one bye one
Your mama's callin' but you're havin' fun
You find you're dancin' on a number nine cloud
Put your hands together now and sing It out loud
Its all part of my rock 'n roll fantasy
Its all part of my rock 'n roll dream
Its all part of my rock 'n roll fantasy
Its all part of my rock 'n roll dream
Put up the spotlights one and all
And let the feelin' get down to your soul
The music's so loud you can hear the sound
Reachin' for the sky and churn In up the ground
Its all part of my rock 'n roll fantasy
Its all part of my rock 'n roll dream
Its all part of my rock 'n roll fantasy
Its all part of my rock 'n roll dream
My youth brought me here. I was 14 years old when this album came out. We had a parade of fresh and creative music coming out during the 70's. The 70's was by far, the best and most creative time for Rock. We had new bands hitting the airwaves on a nearly constant basis. It was a time when the record labels allowed creativity. And music wasn't limited to the car stereo or a cell phone. "Boomboxes" filled the outdoors with music. And you could attend a concert most any day of the week for a mere $5.00. And Bad Company was among the many I saw during that time. I'm so very fortunate to have been born before the advancement of technology and the absolute greed of the record companies. The bands back in those days did something bands of today could never do......they left their human imprint on the music. What a great time it was!!
I remember the first time I heard song I was 14 years old and was with my Aunt Betty and she had this tape and let me drive in a big parking lot. They later give me and my friends a 12 pack of Miller beer and we ran out she gave us as many as we wanted.
the media, and the disco queens said rock died in the late 70s early 80s ....the beatles and zepplin were gone!!! Molly hatchet, 38 special, thin lizzy , Nazareth, bad co , ac/dc , iron maiden , judas priest, ted nugent, george t and the destroyers,
tom petty and the Heartbreakers , van halen , motorhead, the Georgia satellite s , the fabulous thunderbirds, Blackfoot, deep purple still rockin the fuck out with knockin at my back door!!!... and even motley crue, 77 - 84 might be a dead spot in the eyes of the elite rock critics.... but its still my favorite time in rock history
My first concert was this past July, seeing these guys with Lynyrd Skynyrd. Two of my favorite bands, they both kicked ass but I would give anything to be my age (15) in the 70's so I could see the the original lineup of Skynyrd and Bad Company.
