I love this woman... the warmth of her voice is soul touching, enough to put babies to sleep no one could never sing this song as beautifully as Bette Midler.

When I was a little girl, I used to play with my best friend/little sister Lenora. Bette Midler music was playing when we played together. She died when I was 15, now a lot of Bette Midler tunes, help me go through memories of her. I miss her to this day. Rest in peace Pan, I love you so much!

I absolutely love this song and the fact that it was used in my all time favourite film 'beaches' makes it even better

When I was young my mother watched Beaches religiously.  She loved it.  At the time I hated it.  Now I love it.  This movie really helped me later in life to deal with the death of two good friend.  Miss those times I use to sit and watch it with my mother.    

Bette Midler is a timeless artist. The emotion she emulates in her voice brings tears. The joy she gives is endless. I am happy to have lived during her time.
