Read somewhere, that he was having a recording studio built, and was planning on signing artists,and just writting songs. He would have been a big record producer.

For a guy who was around as a singer for such a short time he sure made a lot of records! Johnny Winter told me that he used to listen to the Big Bopper's radio show when he was growing up in Beaumont. Waaaay cool!

This a nice sound to his voice, woow, THE BIG BOPPER, was full of talent. he is not in "THE ROCK N' ROLL HALL OF FAME??????????, WHY?????

This song really gives me the chills and memories back when I was a young lad driving in my 69 nova to the park and necking under the moon light with my now wife! Good times.

So the word is world then? lol Cool BB. He once hold the world record as DJ talking and spinning the records for the longest time sometimes in the '50s. Think he was allowed a 5 min pause every hr and at end he was hallucinating because deprived of sleep.
