Paulie might've moved slow, but it was only because Paulie didn't have to move for anybody.

This song is so much more than the movie Goodfellas! This a great song for making out if you can remember that!

The lead singer of this song was Eugene Mumford. He was one of the greatest vocal group lead singers of all time. He sung with the legendary Larks and the Golden Gate Quartet as well as individual recordings. Billy Ward was responsible for putting the various groups together. He was songwriter arranger, vocal coach among his talents. In many circles Gene Mumford is thought to be greatest lead singer of era. There is no greater version of this great song than this I believe.

This is my pick in the imaginary finals of the best ever pop song performance. It has all the qualities needed for eternal reverence and awards. No one sang better than Eugene Mumford, here. Control, timing, tone, pitch, class, purity of sound quality, smoothness. YES.

By the time I grew up, there was 30 billion a year in cargo moving through Idlewild Airport and believe me we tried to steal every bit of it.

there is no more gangster scene than when this song kicks in and Hendry is leaning against the car.
