I was the drummer in Blekbala Mujik. Wayne is right, song written by Apaak from Bulman (central Arnhen Land) who is my brother in law by skin (bunji). The song is actually sung in Kriol, a universal indigenous language. In English it would read Drunken fella. Miss you Bunji and Laylac (Didge), shang, Lachlan (Bass), and crew. RIP Johnny Blanasi (lead guitarist)....sorry to say his name you mob! Love you all.
Song is by Apaak Miller of Bulman, South Arnhem Land. Song is about alcohol adiction and it's effects on family. The band Black Bella Mujik (Black Fella Music)sings mostly in pigeon English or Remmbanga language from their traditonal lands.
I first heard this song a few years back, I thought I would never hear it again because I did not know the song title. Thank you so much for posting this song, it makes my heart so happy to hear it. One nation, one voice, one love.
