Thanks a million, Vlad!
Blossom playing her own piano accompaniment, I think?
That phrasing beginning at 2.38 is particularly sublime! What diction throughout too.
As in Tea For Two (same album) the tempo in Manhattan is just lovely at its slow, clear-lyric pace. So hard to pull off without sounding as if you're dragging.
Dear, dear Blossom!

Very different from Ella Fitzgerald but I really like it! and quickly becoming a big fan of Blossom Dearie! I'm 25 yrs old never really listen to Jazz before and wonder why I havn't? It proves that it cross age and is timeless.....Hear Blossom "I wish you love" in a movie Kissing Jessica Stein and since then I've been listening to Blossom Dearie :D Great post bro! nice job
