Funny how Blues Traveler has trolled us for years with this. And they were right.

The irony of this is, while people like to think he was trolling us, insulting pop music fans, etc, what he really does is illustrate a great point: music, even with singing, isn't always about a message. Lyrical content doesn't matter if the music is great. A great example of this is PJ's Yellow Ledbetter. One of their best songs ever but Eddie sings NOTHING. He 100% unintelligible. Even if you read along with the so-called lyrics, language-wise, it's still all gibberish. So then why is Yellow Ledbetter one of PJ's most popular songs? Because Eddie, with that voice of his, is an INSTRUMENT, like the guitars and drums. He IS music with his beautiful voice. Thank you.
