Interesting how some people talk about the Jamaican artists like they are the cause of the violence that plagues Jamaica. None of these artists created the conditions that make becoming a gunman a viable option. They don't bring in the guns. They weren't there when the politicians wrecked the economy. They don't perpetuate the system of nepotism that robs many qualified young people of hope. So how is it fair to blame the artist for painting a picture of what life is like in certain parts of the island?
